Last Gasp...

Halloween rocks!
Happy first day of Halloween! Personally, I could do with a little less horror this year, but at least this month is all about the fun kind and not the real-world kind. Since much of our Halloween-ing will have to be done indoors and solo this year, seems like an especially good time to enjoy some spooky tracks that celebrate all the cuddly monsters, glowing pumpkins, and plentiful candy that bring us comfort during the best season of all.

We start off as we always do, with a song by the original inspiration for this blog, The Cramps. "Big Black Witchcraft Rock" could describe every song ever featured over the ten years (!) this blog has existed. Fittingly, it is from their last album, Fiends of Dope Island, as this will also be the last year of this blog. Ten years is a long time in the crypt, so I think it's time to break the chains and overthrow the overlords. But we still have a whole month left to share the wickedest tunes I can exhume, so let's get started!

  1. Too bad that this will be the final year - but what a great decade of Halloween-Tracks!
